This policy explains what this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to this site only, not to retailer sites you reach through our links.

Information We Collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not sell personal data. Standard server logs record an IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamp for every request, which is what keeps the site running and lets us spot abuse.

If you use the contact form or the email signup, you give us the address and message you type. Those forms are decorative on this build and do not transmit anywhere, so write to the email address on the contact page if you need a reply.

Analytics

We use a third-party analytics service to count visits and see which pages parents read before they leave. It sets its own cookies and records aggregate behaviour, not names. You can block it with any standard tracker-blocking extension and the site will still work.

Cookies

Cookies here do two jobs: remember that you dismissed the cookie notice, and feed the analytics service described above. No advertising profile is built from them. Your browser settings let you refuse or delete cookies at any time; refusing them only means the notice reappears.

Affiliate Links and Third Parties

Retailer links carry an affiliate tag so the retailer can attribute a purchase. Once you click through, that retailer's own privacy policy governs what happens next, including anything they store about your session or order. Read theirs before you check out.

Children's Privacy

This site is written for parents and carers, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to the address below and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and holds no customer database, no payment details and no order history, because purchases happen at the retailer. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
